Every time someone in our family turns four, the whole family gathers in Disney World. And I mean the whole family. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and sometimes even friends.
This year, our little Abigail has turned four! She turned four in April, but our trip is in just ONE week. She has been to Disneyworld a few times now, one of the times being the four year old trip for her cousin, Alexis. Lexi is 7 now. Lexi's trip was Abigail's very first trip to the Magic Kingdom. I remembering then how fun it will be to go when Abi turns four, but it seemed like forever away. And now it's finally here.
We leave a week from Thursday! We'll be driving down from Michigan to Florida and we should get to Orlando by Friday night.
This time will feel a little different, though, because not everyone will be able to join us in Florida. My brother and sister in law have moved to Bethlehem, Israel, and they won't be able to make trip back. I'm trying to think of a way to make them feel included and for us to feel a little more like they're there. I've thought about skyping, skyping while on a ride maybe, sending them postcards, talking with them each night before we all head to bed. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!
